Georgia Williams is an exhibiting fine artist and curator of British - Caribbean heritage. Her artistic practice spans image making, image taking, writing and stillness. She is interested in the act of looking, reading of an image, and capturing human sensibility and emotion through our everyday.  She works in sequencing and experimental display to form ideas and poetry within her archives.

Georgia's curatorial practice celebrates a DIY, experimental and collaborative approach, establishing many independent projects and exhibitions that supports the growth and development of early career and graduate artists. She is founder of 160 on Barton Arts Gallery in Gloucester, a creative space which bridges community activity and contemporary art through exhibitions, discussion groups, workshops and film screenings. Georgia has worked on many community projects and co-curated larger exhibitions including, Beating Back the Past (2024) with Vanley Burke and Rider Shafique at Gloucester Cathedral and New Black Narrative (2024) at RWA Bristol.
